Financial Responsibility

As a first-time registered student, you are required to have a photo ID. The fee is assessed at registration to all FIU students once every academic year (which is from Fall to Summer semesters.)

Photo ID Fee (Public, Charter, Private and Home Education Students)

  • You must be registered for classes.
  • You must have a valid Panther ID number in order to receive the One Card.
  • You must present a valid government-issued photo ID.

Parking Permit (Public, Charter, Private and Home Education Students)

Please visit the Parking and Transportation website below, if you would like to park your vehicle at FIU while attending class.

Transcript (Public, Charter, Private and Home Education Students)

Please visit the One Stop website below for information about sending your official FIU transcript to other universities/colleges.

Instructional Materials  (Private School Students Only)

  • Private school students are responsible for providing their own instructional materials.
Dual Enrollment registration does not include the cost of library fines, parking decal or student IDs. Students are responsible for these costs.
You will not be able to request a transcript if there is a balance on your account.
